Internship information
General Farm Description: "Mill Village Farms is a non-profit organization started in 2012. Our mission is to teach youth (age 14-18) job skills, life skills, sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship by working on our farm. The produce that the youth grow right in their community is then sold back to the community via the Mill Village Mobile Market and our new ""brick & mortar"" market in the Village of West Greenville. We have approximately 1.5 acres under production in addition to hydroponic and aquaponic systems as well. MVF hires several interns over the summer to work with the youth and at our market, but this year is the first year that we are offering a full-time farm apprenticeship. Please check out our website and facebook page for more info about what is happening with out organization."
