Internship informationGeneral Farm Description: Sustainable Flower Farm in the Catskill Mountains. We are 100% women/queer-owned and powered. We supply to our own csa and to an additional csa and also to flower designers from the area and NYC. We are in our second season and consist of a small 4-person crew.

Intern will learn and execute basic flower harvesting, conditioning, holding techniques for all of our specialty cut flowers. This fall, our intern(s) will join us in planting thousands of tulips, hundreds of peonies and perhaps a few other things. Basic farm maintenance and plant tending and preparation is a daily job. Frost covering and uncovering, tunnel building, grounds maintenance are all regular weekly tasks. LGBTQ+ preferred. All welcome. Work among fellow queers and bloom.
Educational Opportunities: So much to learn.
Skills Desired: Ideal candidate has organic farm experience. Super ideal candidate has flower farm experience.
Meals: Yes. Dinner is provided Monday-Thursday. Stipend to cover expenses or groceries and smaller stipend for other meals. There is a small kitchenette for crew.
