Internship Details:

True Farm to Table. Learn it all. Daily work in the field, kitchen, at the farmers markets and catering gigs. In addition, learn and work with us as we continue our organic certification process, help with research and paperwork, meet with inspectors and help us ensure we are 100% in compliance. In addition, there is always something that needs building or repair here. Must have exemplary personal hygiene for kitchen & catering work.

Educational Opportunities: Our goal is that you leave our farm with the real life experience to work in sustainable agriculture or hospitality/food industries or maybe even both!

Skills Desired: Some experience with gardening and a love of the land. Some experience in a commercial kitchen or working at catered events and a true appreciation for honest, from-scratch food. Handyperson skills a big plus. More important than experience, here at Dancing Poly, is a crazy positive attitude, willingness to learn and be quick about your work. On any given day you may spend 2 hours weeding or harvesting, 2 hour chop/slicing/dicing in the kitchen and then 3-4 hours at market being friendly salesperson extraordinaire out of our food truck. Doing dishes and mopping floors also involved. We have a lot of fun here but there are not two days that are the same and that kind of nuts should be what makes you tick!

Meals: Lunch and Dinner 4 days a week.

Stipend: $85 weekly stipend at the end of second successful week and subject to increases based on performance.

Housing: Housing in a room in main house with private porch, entry, bathroom and kitchenette as well as washer/dryer access and free wifi.

Preferred method of Contact: email
