General Farm Description: Mighty Tendril Farm specializes in cut-flowers, fresh vegetables, and fruits. We grow without synthetic chemicals or fertilizers and aim for regenerative practices of soil building to encourage healthy plant growth. Established in 2014 we currently sell at farmers markets in Carrboro and Greensboro, offer a veggie + flower CSA, and sell wholesale flowers for florists/designers/events.CRAFT Member Farm? Yes

Internship Details:
We’re looking for someone to join our Farm Crew for the 2021 season! Full days Tuesday-Friday, ideally with availability for working Saturday morning markets in Carrboro. Starting in March through mid-December with opportunity to extend through the winter and beyond.
Work days are typically 7a-4p or 8a-5p with a one-hour lunch break. Strong preference given to folks with prior farm and especially flower farming experience. We expect folks to approach their tasks with an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn quickly and work efficiently. Responsibilities will include greenhouse work, planting, crop maintenance, flower and veggie harvest, bouquet making, market prep, and much more. Expect (and look forward to) encounters with many types of weather and insects!
