Internship informationGeneral Farm Description: Millstone Farm is a private, family-owned farm focused on regenerative farming, educational opportunities and innovative technologies that improve the health of our community, our animals and our land. Our property is a 75-acre farm in Wilton, CT. We are a working farm with many different components including: diversified livestock, 3 acres of intensively produced vegetable crops, and an international level equestrian facility. Our farmers are committed to strengthening ties between the surrounding community and our land through our Community Supported Agriculture program and farm workshops. We are proud to have longstanding partnerships with many local markets and chefs in our area as well as a number of community organizations and non-profits.

We are looking for an experienced Facilities and Grounds Intern, responsible for maintaining safe working conditions of the buildings, vehicles, and equipment at Millstone Farm and assisting in the day to day activities of a working farm. A “Jack of all Trades” intern will be essential to keep up with the diverse set of tasks, properties, projects, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be well organized, hard-working, diversely skilled, and eager to learn. The commitment to a team-oriented and family-friendly working environment is a priority.

Skills Desired: experience and skills for farm work, carpentry, landscaping is required.
Meals: Farm produce is available to interns.
Stipend: Yes, successful applicants are eligible for a stipend during their internship and this is based off of previous experience and reference. Unpaid interns are also eligible to receive bonuses related to performance. Details can be discussed individually and further in the application process.
