General Description: Sunworks Farm is a Certified Organic Poultry and Cattle farm that direct markets all of its meats at two year round Farmers Markets and into a few food service outlets. The farm is certified as humane and raises their poultry in movable shelters in the summer. Calving is done late spring and through the summer.

The feed is made on the farm in their own CFIA approved feed mill. This is a progressive farm that uses rotational grazing for its birds and cattle, farms holistically and in a sustainable manner.

Internship Starts: Majority of work is for summer months, also accept apprenticeships in Fall and Winter

General work expectations:

--6 days /week, approximately 8 to 9 hours per day, you will be feeding and tending to poultry and livestock.
--the work takes place indoors and outdoors while operating a feed mill, marketing at farmers markets, cleaning barns and moving shelters.
