General Description: Pioneer Farm is looking for a responsible and motivated person or persons to farm on our land. The person or couple we are seeking will have firsthand knowledge and experience in farm practices including soil management, crop rotation, experience in marketing farm-fresh vegetables through CSA, Farmers Market, or direct sales, and the possibility of complying with farm exemption. The successful candidate will be asked for a business plan and references. Pioneer Farm offers desirable land that is already in production, a moose-proof fence, water, possible on site-living arrangements, and a tractor for soil prep in summer. The successful candidate will be a separate entity from our farm. This is a great opportunity for those who want to graduate from intern to farmer. This is an opportunity for an additional farmer on our farm.
