General Description: We are a farm family producing fruit, vegetables, herbs, and flowers, along with forage-based hogs, sheep, and poultry. Our production practices are rooted in permacultural/regenerative philosophies. Located on 65 acres on a beautiful mountain top, outside of West Fork, AR. Our family has a passion for educating and encouraging others to eat locally grown healthy foods.

Internship Starts: negotiable
Internship Ends: negotiable
Number of Interns: 2
App Deadline: Until positions are filled
Minimum Length of Stay: 3 months to 1 year

Meals: Breakfasts, Lunches and some evening meals provided

Skills Desired: Ability to work both independently or with others, and be flexible. Experience and/or interest in alternative building techniques, alternative energy, permaculture, forest gardening?... helpful but not required.

Educational Opportunities: Learn marketing skills, gardening, animal husbandry and potentially much more!

Stipend: To be discussed at interview.

Internship Details: Year round gardening, rotational grazing and animal care. Preparing for farmers market and restaurant deliveries. Our emphasis this year is to foster synergistic relationships among the many farm enterprises. If you are passionate about caring for people, the planet and great food, we want to talk to you. 5-6 day work week.
