General Description: For two years we have operated a market garden (one acre) with our two young children. We are located on the west side of the Fraser River, between Quesnel and Williams Lake. We spend a good deal of our time building infrastructure and this year are completing a hybrid earthen structure for our permanent family dwelling. Construction methods that we use include cob, cob-wood, bale-cob, and earthbag. This year we hope to begin an outdoor kitchen with cob barrel oven as well as a cob/cordwood sauna.
