General Description: 100 year old 17 acre farm located on West Coast of Vancouver Island 40 km from Victoria. We produce organically certified vegetables, herbs, fruit, flowers and have a seed company, growing all our own seeds. We have been training apprentices for over 25 years and offering workshops and courses at our community college on organic farming. The staff of usual 5 people is made up of the farm owner, the farm manager and two to three apprentices, often one seasoned returning for a second year. Our produce and seeds are sold at farmers markets, at the farm store, and through our websites as well as to restaurants and retail garden shops. Please check out our two websites: almfarms.org and fullcircleseeds.com. Apprentices have their own quarters either in the farm house, the cob house or the tiny house. Couples are welcome.
