Number of Interns: 4
App Deadline: rolling

Skills Desired: A true desire to work and learn typically makes for a successful Hill and Hollow intern. A perfect apprentice might come from any background, but remains mindful and present while on the farm. These traits make the education of sustainable farming and homesteading most valuable whatever prior experience the applicant might have.

Educational Opportunities: In addition to the hands on education of running a 75 member CSA and countless homesteading skills, we gather monthly on our region's other sustainable farms as a member of our CRAFT group.

Stipend: We offer an array of entrepreneurial, on farm opportunities to long term apprentices for extra cash.

Housing: Comfortable accommodation is on farm in a special apprentice cabin. Someone joining us with a focus on the farm to table enterprise could be housed in the Farm Stay.

Preferred method Of Contact: email or phone is fine
