General Description: A 2 acre farm 12 minutes north of Santa Fe city center, we work in close relationship with our restaurant partner, Arroyo Vino, as well as markets, and other restaurants.

Internship Starts: 4-15-2017
Internship Ends: 10-1-2017

Minimum Length of Stay: 6 Months

Meals: Lunch provided Tuesday through Friday around 2pm. There may be some days when lunch is not available as the kitchen is engaging in special events.

Skills Desired: I am looking for someone who is a quick learner, and who can take directions. I would like someone who has some experience in greenhouses, as well as field and harvest management. Can you work both with others, and alone? Can you take direction and make decisions?

As we are attached to a restaurant outside of Santa Fe, I am looking for someone who can be in good communication practices with both out neighbours, Chef, and the staff in the restaurant.

Efficiency of harvest and quality of produce are of supreme importance.

I am looking for someone who has a reliable vehicle (preferably a car/truck) and is able to drive and make deliveries from time to time to other local restaurants as well as for loading additional produce to farmers markets.

I am looking for someone who is in practice of good communication, clear boundaries, and speaking your truth.

The person who comes to TRL for the growing season must have an ability to work in close proximity with honeybees. If you are truly allergic, this job is not for you. Our garden supports five bee hives, and our pollinators work in close proximity to our beds.

This Internship opportunity is truly for the self-starter who is interested and capable of having and taking responsibility for the daily goings-on of the farm, via a unique view into a niche of the organic growing community- farm/restaurant connection. Am interested in having a manager who questions, pushes, and brings joy, diversity, and healthy interactive conversation/thoughts to the table!

Educational Opportunities: If you are interested in running your own small farm, and want a step up from the normal internship experience, this is the job for you. You will have the opportunity to get experience to run and manage a portion of the farms weekly tasks.

Stipend: $1200/mo. increase to $1500 after two months.

Internship Details: Tuesday through Saturday 40-50 hours/week.
Wednesdays and part days on Fridays will have responsibilities of running a harvest on your own.
Saturdays we will be at the Santa Fe Farmers Market.
