General Description: We are an urban non-profit farm less than a mile west of Downtown Columbus. Our mission is to grow and share food, build community, and create beauty with our neighbors. Franklinton is a USDA classified low-income, low-food access neighborhood, so our number one priority is getting healthy, affordable produce out to our community through a variety of distribution methods--like our growing neighborhood-based CSA program, mobile market, farm stand, and other farmers markets in Greater Columbus. In addition, we donate much of the produce to community meals and soup kitchens. We grow produce organically, although not certified, on previously abandoned residential sites that total 2.5 acres. We are dedicated to building a more just and resilient local food system as well as showcase urban farming as a sustainable venture.
