General Description: Sand Creek Farm provides vegetables, grass fed beef, pastured pork, pastured chicken eggs, pastured broilers and various other products to families in Central Texas and provides a small farm incubator for new farmers to get real world experience in a low risk environment before they buy a farm.

Meals: You are the farmer and can eat what you grow.

Skills Desired: This is the opportunity to start your own farm on a trail basis. You must follow the simple rules of the agreement for this to make sense for us to make this available.

Educational Opportunities: Commercial aquaponics production, Field vegetable production, crop planning, marketing, business planning, cashflow management, delivery logistics, etc.

Stipend: You are the farmer and will live off of the sales that you generate.

Housing: Separate male and female cabins are available for rent

Internship Details: If you are dreaming of becoming a farmer but do not have the capital to get started, Sand Creek Farm has an opportunity for you. We are renting out some of commercial aquaponics greenhouses and some of our land(4-5 acres per farmer) to new farmers to help them take the next step in their farming dream. It does not require a long term commitment and housing is available on the farm. This is not an internship, but the next step after.
