General Description: Our farm is 80 acres and we are about 20 miles east of Austin. We have a diverse farm with cattle, swine, poultry, eggs and produce. We have Permaculture and Holistic Management International training. We currently have about 1 acre devoted to produce. We currently have no employees and occasionally host volunteers through WWOOF. Our team consists of Germaine Swenson, her partner, Ivan Matula and Ivan's brother, Milo Matula. Our goal this year is to create a commercial kitchen on the farm for doing value added products and an occasional supper club. We also plan to open a farm stand with regular hours at least once per week. We currently go to 2 farmer's markets and are thinking of adding a third. Our eventual goal would be to have a CSA.
