General Description: 8.25 acre organic farm we grow; row crops, berries, treefruit, honey, hard cider, native plants. we sell CSA, Farmers Market, wholesale.

Our vision is to grow healthy, local organic produce and in turn to build on individual and community assets.

Roll Organic Farms recycles and will lead by example while educating ourselves and others about health, nutrition & the environment.

Minimum Length of Stay: 30 day

Meals: Intern will provide own food. With much on farm input.

Skills Desired: Willingness to work hard, 25 hours a week and to learn. Prefer someone who wants to one day have their own farm.

Educational Opportunities: Sustainable organic produce/orchard production. Marketing organic products, building a sustainable business. G.A.P. procedures.

Stipend: $65.00 per month

Housing: 26 foot travel trailer with propane furnace, oven stove, hot water heater, refrigerator, freezer.microwave A/C. 1 bedroom, full bath. clean we provide all propane, cookware, bedding, towels etc. Please bring a pillow.

Internship Details: 25 hours a week sowing, transplanting, weeding, thinning harvesting, washing, boxing, organic produce. Some farmer market, CSA, wholesale duties food bank, etc.
