General Description: We are a small 5 acre certified organic farm located in Amery, Wisconsin, surrounded by rolling prairie with native flowering plants and grasses. 2018 marks our 6th year of farming. We grow about an 1 and 1/2 acres of medicinal and culinary herbs and are committed to growing high quality herbs and producing high quality hand-crafted botanicals for our community. We provide CSA seasonal herbal shares, sell at farmers markets on the weekends and provide wholesale to some restaurants.

Minimum Length of Stay: 5-6 months part time
Meals: wholesome tasty noontime meal provided unless you prefer to cook for yourself.
Skills Desired: 1 year prior work on a vegetable or herb farm is required
Educational Opportunities: Besides learning how to grow and care for medicinal and culinary herbs, you'll also have the opportunity to learn about the healing properties of the plants we are growing as well as plant medicine making through the course of the season.
Stipend: $9.00 per hour. Noontime meal and housing will be taken out of your paycheck if you choose to eat and live on the farm.
Housing: Great apartment above Farms garage is available for housing if needed

Internship Details: We are looking for a part time position for Tuesday thru Thursday, 8 hours per day at $9.00 per hour. We'll provide a substantial noontime meal or you may choose to cook for yourself. Housing is available if needed and is a nice size apartment over the farms garage. Work consists of planting, weeding and harvesting. You'll also have the opportunity to learn about the healing properties of the plants we are growing as well as plant medicine making through the course of the season.
