In the this episode, Michael McCormick, the executive director of the Food Resource Center in Livingston, Montana, talks about how the FRC grew from a more typical food pantry to a more active role in addressing poverty and its effects in the community. FRC now has a commercial kitchen, where it conducts vocational classes, and offers a lot of healthy food produced by local and Montana ag operations. The philosophy is to help people improve their lives, not simply feed them for a day.
