Maine Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Program

Applications are due by April 29, 2024.
USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announced a cooperative agreement with Maine under the Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Program. The agreement offers nearly $4 million in competitive grant funding for projects to create opportunities for small and midsize producers, expand food access, and enhance supply chain resilience. Maine’s Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry will fund projects for on-farm facility infrastructure improvements. Priorities are based on stakeholder engagement and outreach to underserved producers. AMS encourages applications serving smaller farms, new and beginning farmers, veterans, and underserved communities.
