Michigan Agriculture and Rural Business Energy Incentive Program

Proposals will be considered on a rolling basis until funds are expended or until March 3, 2024.
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy is offering matching grants for energy waste reduction projects and
renewable energy projects for farms, agribusinesses (crop and food processing or other related businesses), businesses that provide assistance/services to agribusinesses, and rural businesses and nonprofit organizations. All applicants must provide a 1:1 match. Businesses must be located in Michigan and have fewer than 500 employees. A total of $250,000 in funding is expected to be available.
