Report Provides Insight on Economic Impact of Food and Agriculture Sector

The eighth annual Feeding the Economy report shows that the total economic impact for food and agriculture-related industries in the United States grew 11.8% over the last year, reaching $63 trillion. 9.This represents 20.01% of total U.S. output. The report is the result of a nationwide study commissioned by 30 food and agriculture groups to provide insight into the food and agriculture sectors’ economic impact. In addition to national data, the report also provides detailed analyses of economic impacts at the state and county levels.
