Robyn Metzger joined the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) in 2004 and is a program specialist in the Southeast Regional Office. As coordinator for the Armed to Farm program, she facilitates the planning, implementation, and evaluation of NCAT’s multiple Armed to Farm training events each year. She also responds to client requests for information on programs for veterans in agriculture. Robyn also provides planning, outreach, and communications support for NCAT Southeast’s regional activities. Her 20 years of communications experience include writing, editing, and designing press releases, email campaigns, publications, and newsletters for print and digital distribution; producing content for websites; and social media management. The daughter of a farmer-veteran, Robyn grew up on a dairy goat farm in north Arkansas. She currently is focused on replacing her family’s urban lawn with vegetables, cut flowers, and pollinator-friendly native plants.

Education:
Bachelor of Arts in English, Lyon College. Magna cum laude.
