Rock Woods served as the regional extension coordinator serving the Mississippi Delta for Alcorn State University prior to joining NCAT. He facilitated a collaboration between Alcorn State University and United Health Care to develop the Farm to Fork Program, to provide fresh locally grown vegetables to insured clients of United Health Care. He also collaborated with other agencies to obtain funds for off campus sites, develop and implemented educational programs, events, and activities for ag educators; and provide leadership and management for the off-campus sites by planning field days and conferences to provide limited resource audiences with knowledge of extension and other programs. Rock is a fourth-generation soybean farmer in the Mississippi Delta.
