Rural Energy for America Program Renewable Energy Systems & Energy Efficiency Improvement Guaranteed Loans & Grants

Applications are due March 31, 2023.
This USDA program provides guaranteed loan financing and grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems or to make energy efficiency improvements. Agricultural producers may also apply for new energy efficient equipment and new system loans for agricultural production and processing. The program offers loan guarantees up to 75% of project costs, grants up to 40% of project costs, or combined grant and loan packages up to 75% of project cost. Renewable energy system grants range from $2,500 to $1 million and energy-efficiency grants range from $1,500 to $500,000.
