Small Grains in the Corn Belt Initiative Launches Monthly Newsletter

Sustainable Food Lab has launched a monthly Small Grains in the Corn Belt Initiative newsletter. In partnership with Practical Farmers of Iowa, the goal of this initiative is to establish the right conditions to make small grains work for farmers in the Midwest, with the assumption that market demand is necessary to incentivize diversifying the current corn-soy rotation. The supply chain partner newsletters will share progress, highlight farmers impacted by the initiative, feature partner company involvement, and report other relevant news. The first issue is available online.
