USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service has announced fiscal year 2022 assistance opportunities for agricultural producers and private landowners for key programs, such as the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP), and Agricultural Management Assistance (AMA) program. Although applications are accepted for these programs year-round, applicants must meet state-specific cutoff dates to be considered for this year's funding. If you’re a small-scale farmer, food processor or distributor, or farmers market and have been financially impacted by Covid-19, you may be able to access up to $20,000 to recover costs related to the pandemic. NCAT is helping food producers access these dollars through the USDA’s Pandemic Response and Safety Grant Program. Applications will open in early October.
