UC Davis Surveying Organic Livestock Producers on Parasite Management
University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and UC Agriculture Natural Resources Cooperative Extension are surveying organic livestock producers (certified, transitional, or implementing organic practices) about parasite management for cattle, sheep, and goats. Researchers are seeking to learn about dewormer drugs used and their perceived efficacy, as well as integrated parasite management practices and their perceived efficacy. Survey results will help identify critical areas that need additional research or extension services related to parasites management in organic production. The survey takes 10 to 15 minutes and is available online until April 15, 2023.
