University of Wisconsin-MadisonVideo Series Highlights Organic Research by Graduate Students
The University of Wisconsin-Madison has released a series of short videos highlighting the research work of five graduate students who were the first recipients of the school’s assistantships focused on organic research and education. “The First Crop: Emerging Organic Leaders at UW” features the inspiring stories and research experiences of Ariana Abbrescia and Claire Benning in agroecology, Ambar Carvallo Lopez and Liam Dixon, who are each pursuing PhD degrees in plant breeding and plant genetics, and Guang Tian, who is pursuing a PhD in agricultural and applied economics.
