Internship information
General Farm Description: Our farm is a small (8 acre) organic vegetable farm located in the San Pedro Valley near Benson, Arizona. We are a production farm, currently growing a variety of vegetables for sale in farmers markets in the nearby Tucson metropolitan area, to our CSA shareholders, to restaurants, and to local non-profits and institutions. The setting of the farm is exquisite. We have ever-changing views of 4 mountain ranges and the weather that flows around them. The night sky is amazing. We are at the end of a dirt road and the farm property abuts state trust land. One can hike directly from the farm into a beautiful high-desert ecoregion. We are part of a local community of small-to-medium-sized organic farms across southeast Arizona who are working to create a resilient local food system.
