General Farm Description: WHO WE ARE: Shenandoah Seasonal is a four season diversified vegetable farm located in Clear Brook, Virginia. We utilize organic farming practices with a low tech/high yield/hands on approach. Our Farm is a first generation farm that started on leased land and no experience and we are proudly going into our 12th growing season. We grow 2 acres of produce, 1/2 acre in high tunnels. We are market gardeners, attending farmers markets every week, year round. We also run a small onsite farmstand and local CSA program. Don’t forget our restaurant accounts too! The chefs we sell to feature some of DC’s finest dining and includes some AMAZING restaurants showcasing James Beard Awards, Michelin Stars, and neighborhood favorites! Our farm is located in the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, only 1.5 hours from DC. We have strong community roots here in our town of Winchester, Virginia and highly recommend this area to upcoming crew members for its charm, entertainment and outdoor activities. There’s something for everyone! We offer exposure to an operation that gives you a realistic version of how to start your own farm. We are searching for people who want to work hard and gain experience to continue a successful career in vegetable production.
