Internship information
General Farm Description: 10-acres in Bend, Oregon. We are passionate about growing cut flowers sustainably along with gourmet-quality vegetables, fruits, and herbs. We also have a small horse-boarding operation as well as agri-tourism components; flower harvesting and arranging classes, as well as drawing/painting workshops in the farm and forest landscape. We use only organic and regenerative practices, no chemical herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers. Greenhouses, windbreaks and rock walls increase radiant warmth for tender seedlings and extend the productive season. Crop rotation, cover crops, home-grown compost, and the planting of flowers that attract beneficial insects ensure a healthy and vibrant ecosystem. Our markets include our local Farmer's Markets, restaurants, weddings and events.CRAFT Member Farm? No
