I have been growing and selling organic vegetables to my community for over 30 years. My husband and I started as backyard growers when our first daughter was born in 1992, before purchasing our 5 acre farm in Canon City, CO in 2001. Over the years we have shared our passion for soil health and food with many people who have visited us as woofers or spent time with us as employees. When we're not farming we enjoy biking, hiking, and reading. Because or our desire to spend less time farming and more time recreating in the CO mountains, we are hoping to create a transition plan which would allow us to preserve this little piece of agricultural paradise and leave it in the capable hands of some young and enthusiastic farmers.
