Spero Latchis CCH. is both a Certified Soil Health Consultant and a Certified Lab Technician associated with the Soil Food Web School. In 2009 Spero Latchis and Robin Jameson moved to rural Himalayan India to open a charitable natural medicine clinic. They also began farming two acres of compacted clay earth that received 12 ft. of rain every summer. Studying the work of Dr. Elaine Ingham taught them how to turn their dense clay into fertile soil. In 2017 they moved to Maine and founded the nonprofit Living Soil Network. Spero has consulted on many soil restoration projects, both in India and in the US. Presently he makes ecologically balanced compost with the Living Soil Company. He consults on projects large and small in the northeastern US. as well as volunteering his time on the many charitable activities of Living Soil Network.
