General Farm Description: Now hiring for the 2026 season! Dancing Gnome Farm is a certified organic vegetable farm nestled in the bluffs outside Wabasha, Minnesota, where we grow over 40 types of fresh, flavorful produce for our CSA members and farmers markets. Our team enjoys working hard together in all weather to harvest, wash, and deliver the freshest seasonal vegetables to our community.

FARM CREW

Responsibilities
Seed, transplant, weed, harvest, wash, and pack a wide variety of certified organic vegetables for our CSA and farmers markets
Help care for laying hens and assist with other farm tasks as needed
Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Connect with members and customers at our Wabasha CSA pickup or by running our local farmers market stands

Qualifications:
Enjoy physical, outdoor work
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing tasks and conditions
Work efficiently and stay self-motivated
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to ~40 lbs
Interest in fresh, local, organic food

CREW LEADER

Responsibilities:
Lead and work alongside the farm crew in daily tasks, guiding the crew independently when Lauren is off-farm
Work closely with Lauren to plan and adjust daily and weekly workflows
Seed, transplant, weed, harvest, and assist with crop care in the fields and high tunnels
Oversee harvest quality and wash/pack efficiency
Help coordinate market harvest and/or run our stand at our local farmers markets

Qualifications:
2+ seasons of vegetable farm experience
Leadership, mentoring, or crew coordination experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to ~40 lbs
Interest in fresh, local, organic food


Educational Opportunities: You will get hands-on experience in all the day-to-day aspects of our vegetable operation.

Skills Desired: Experience working hard outdoors. Willingness to work in all weather conditions. Ability to pick up on systems, work quickly and efficiently, and be self-directed when necessary.

Meals: Farm veggies provided. Lunch is eaten communally.

Stipend: Farm Crew: $15-16/hour DOE, plus a CSA share and extra farm veggies. Bonus: Employees are eligible for a 3% retirement match. Crew Leader: $17-20/hr DOE, plus a CSA share and extra farm veggies. Bonus: Employees are eligible for a 3% retirement match.
