General Farm Description: We run a 50+ acre regenerative farm with water buffalo for dairy and meat, chickens for eggs, pigs, bees, organic blueberry and fruit orchard, large greenhouse with vegetables and citrus trees. We are located 2 hours north of New Orleans and an hour north of Baton Rouge. We are one of the few farms utilizing sustainable and permaculture practices in Louisiana. We are in farmers markets in neighboring cities, supply restaurants, grocery stores, and sell direct to consumers.

Sustainable Regenerative Farm Internship – South Louisiana – Baton Rouge

Are you an aspiring farmer passionate about sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and ethical animal husbandry? Our small, diversified farm outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is looking for motivated, next-generation farmers to join our internship program.

About Us
We operate Louisiana’s only regenerative water buffalo dairy, an organic orchard, and raise pasture-based chickens, forest-raised pigs, and bees—all with a deep commitment to ecological balance and sustainable food production. Our goal is to nurture the land, respect the animals, and provide nutrient-dense food to our community.

What You’ll Learn & Do
Water Buffalo Dairy – Milking, herd management, and rotational grazing

Orchard Management – Organic fruit cultivation and agroforestry principles

Pasture & Forest-Based Livestock – Ethical poultry and pork production

Beekeeping – Hive maintenance, honey harvesting, and pollinator health

Regenerative Practices – Soil health, composting, rotational grazing, and ecosystem restoration

Farm-to-Table Business – Markets, product development, and farm operations
