Kitchen Garden Farm is hiring kitchen crew members for the 2023 season. Full-time positions start in July and run through November with opportunity for year-round work.
We are looking for highly energetic, motivated and passionate individuals who want to join our farm’s kitchen team to produce high quality organic specialty foods.
Responsibilities include working to harvest and preserve vegetables grown on the farm, food processing, working on the bottling line, and packing and shipping specialty food products. Previous farm or kitchen experience with ServeSafe preferred. Strong attention to detail and food safety, safe handling of equipment, ability to work independently and on a team, and eagerness to learn are all essential. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work Monday through Saturday July-November with speed, endurance, and good cheer. Hours are generally 7am-5pm M-F and 8am-1pm every other Saturday, an average of 45-50 hours per week. Part time schedules (4 days/week plus 1 Sat per month) will also be considered.
Starting wage is $16/hour plus overtime > 40 hours/week, plus farm lunch provided M-F and unlimited vegetables. To apply email a cover letter, resume, and references to info at kitchen garden farm dot com.
