Full time field manager/farmer to work in 2-5 acre market farm with orchard. find us on facebook – Waterbear Farm CSA.
We are a biodynamic, organic farm producing all main vegetables for a farmers market and wholesale.
We use small tractors, progressive and ancient techniques and tools, minimal plastic.
Excellent efficient operation in a beautiful setting with ponds, river, mountains, forest.
Great location near thriving artist/music town. Great community farmers market. Fun!
Starts mid April and continues indefinitely.
Starting salary is 2-800 a week based on experience.
Salary can be higher based on experience and references. Increases available as training progresses.
You must live on farm. No rent or utilities. Lots of veggies to eat.
We have a nice cabin with electric and water, kitchen, outhouse, plus bathroom and hot shower in main house. Wifi in barn area.
Very beautiful land/living space.

1. Work ethic, stamina and ability to take good care of self to be available for the heavy times as well as take advantage of break times and days off.
2. Excellent communication skills required.
3. Ability to organize and maintain Technical details of work, clean standards in all aspects of production.
4. Must be very willing and capable of following instructions, clarifying details and getting jobs accomplished correctly.
5. Attention to detail with plant care, and harvest.
