Internship information
General Farm Description: Head in the Clouds Ranch is a small 22 acre ranch in Southwest Colorado raising hogs and chickens. We practice regenerative agricultures through extensive composting, rotational grazing, and small scale food production. We currently have 5 KuneKune pigs that we are breeding, so should have piglets coming this Spring 2023. In April, we are getting 8 more hogs with the goal of processing them in October 2023. Both KuneKunes and the hogs are moved around the 22 acres with electrical fences throughout the spring/Summer to help with fire mitigation.
