Harvesting, washing, and packing produce; seeding, transplanting, and bed preparation; weed, pest, and soil management; greenhouse and high tunnel crop care; and occasional farmers market or delivery assistance. All tasks are shared among the team.

What You’ll Learn

• Diversified organic vegetable production on limited acreage

• Minimal tillage and soil health systems

• Ecological pest and weed management

• Greenhouse and season-extension techniques

• Farm planning, record-keeping, and marketing

Who We’re Looking For

Curious, reliable, and hardworking individuals who enjoy learning by doing, communicating clearly, and working as part of a small team. Prior farm experience is helpful but not required.

Educational Opportunities: Interns will gain hands-on experience in small-scale diversified organic vegetable farming, including crop production, soil management, pest and weed management, greenhouse work, and season extension techniques. There are also opportunities to learn about farm planning, record-keeping, market preparation, and even interacting with customers at farmers markets or through deliveries. Our area has a strong, diverse sustainable farming community, and interns may have opportunities to visit or help out at nearby farms, including pastured livestock and floral operations.

Skills Desired: Prior growing experience is a plus but not required! The qualities we value most in a potential intern are curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn through hands-on experience. A strong work ethic and good communication are essential on a small farm, where teamwork, adaptability, positive attitude, and mutual respect matter every day. We value crew members who can work thoughtfully and efficiently, take feedback well, and contribute positively to the crew dynamic.

Meals: We provide lunch for farm crew.

Stipend: We offer competitive hourly pay (dependent on experience), unlimited vegetable seconds, daily lunch provided, and possible nearby housing.

Housing: We may be able to offer housing at a nearby farm's nice, modern tiny house! (less than 15 minute drive)
