General Farm Description: We are a CCOF certified organic farm located on the Trinity River in Willow Creek, CA. We grow vegetables for farmers' market and wholesale throughout the year.

We’re off to a great start this spring! Our plantings are underway, and we’re anticipating a productive summer ahead. We’re currently seeking a couple of hardworking individuals to join our team and help us make the most of the season.

We are a small farm, but move a lot of produce to local and regional markets as well as farmers markets. Farm work is physically demanding work, so applicants need to be fit and capable of lifting 50lbs. Willingness to work outside in any type of weather is a must. Successful candidates must be able to work well with others as well as complete tasks on their own. Some of the duties include harvesting, weeding, hoeing, transplanting, and farm maintenance. Previous farm experience is not required. More important is a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Resume’ and references are required. A phone interview will be arranged with qualified candidates. A three day trial will be conducted to see if there is mutual agreement the job is a good fit. Educational Opportunities: Learn the process of getting vegetables from seed to harvest through paid work experience. Learn farmers' market skills.

Skills Desired: Previous farm experience is not necessary, but is helpful. No dogs or drugs.

Meals: No, but vegetables are provided.

Stipend: $15/hr
