Internship Details:

Our #1 goal as a farm is to provide our customers, employees, and family with delicious, certified organic vegetables from our land. We strive to produce the best quality vegetables we can, and we try our very best to create an environment on our farm that accomplishes that goal while at the same time creating a workplace that is fun and uplifting.

Farm Crew Members can expect to work 35-40 hours per week, in all weather conditions. We love hiring folks who have experience working in agriculture, but understand that not everyone has had that experience. We welcome all applicants to apply. Work includes, but is not limited to, greenhouse seeding, harvest and post-harvest handling of vegetables, weeding, irrigation, transplanting, and working our farmer’s market stands. This is a great opportunity to learn more about vegetable farming, and specifically, running a certified organic operation. Crew Members are encouraged to actively participate in learning more about sustainable agriculture, and the farm owners are more than willing to help facilitate that learning.

Farm Crew Member pay starts at $14-$15/hr. depending on experience (paid daily 40 minute lunch included). We are hiring 3 crew members for the 2023 season. Part-time applicants are also encouraged to apply. We are a year round vegetable farm, and usually have 2-3 individuals work with us through the winter; winter work opportunities will be discussed with individuals during their quarterly reviews. Crew Members are encouraged to use as much farm produce (within reason) as they need.

Educational Opportunities: There are ample opportunities to learn about organic vegetable farming and marketing on our farm. One of the best learning opportunities was participating in our CRAFT group, which is a group of local farm businesses who gather for monthly farm tours/potlucks. We love what we do and are eager to share our experiences with our crew members!

Skills Desired: Past farming experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about learning how to grow organic veggies. If you are passionate about working outside and being a team member dedicated to the idea of providing our community with healthy food, we're interested in having you join our team.
