Join us for our 10th annual Spanish language conference! We are looking forward to seeing all the sponsors, speakers, collaborators, and participating farmers this fall. Field Day
The pre-conference Field Day on November 19 will visit diversified organic berry and vegetable farms in the Salinas Valley and Watsonville. Farmers will highlight their soil-building practices using cover crops, and demonstrate innovative tools useful for small farmers.

We offer two locations for bus pick up on Nov. 19. Select the option closest to you. Please arrive by 8:45 am.

Conference
The one-day conference on November 20 will take place at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB), in Marina, CA, in the University Center that overlooks the Monterey Bay.
Parking locations for the Conference on Nov. 20:

Parking lot attendees will provide conference guests with a parking pass and a shuttle will be present to take attendees from Lot 59 to the University Center: 4314 6th Ave, Seaside, CA 93955
Shuttles will run from 7:30-10:00 a.m. and 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Field Day
November 19, 2024
This year’s farm tours will feature three stops and four farms in the Monterey Bay area. We will be exploring various production systems and approaches to practical, on-farm conservation. The four featured farmers will share about their farming experience and experimentation with innovative practices, cover crops, wildlife habitat, and more.
The Field Day will begin at 9:00 a.m. Lunch, water, and snacks will be provided throughout the day. The farm tours will end at 4:30 p.m.

Come learn and celebrate at the 10th annual Latino Farmer Conference. Enjoy networking with other farmers and ranchers, produce buyers, industry and equipment specialists, and technical service providers. Participate in workshops on access to land, beneficial agreements and contracts, cooperative marketing strategies, conservation practices and cover crops for healthy soils, berry production, irrigation management, and much more!
All conference presentations will be held in Spanish. Select sessions will be translated into English, Triqui, Zapotec, and Mixteco.
