First-quarter applications are due by September 30, 2024.
USDA is accepting applications for loans and grants through the Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program to expand access to new and better markets for rural small business owners and entrepreneurs. This program provides loans and grants to Microenterprise Development Organizations (MDOs) to either provide microloans for microenterprise startups and growth through a Rural Microloan Revolving Fund, or to provide training and technical assistance to microloan borrowers and microentrepreneurs. Nonprofits, federally recognized Tribes, and institutions of higher learning are eligible to apply.
