10th Annual Latino Farmer Conference Another Great Success
Last month, NCAT hosted the 10th Latino Farmers Conference in California. The event was programmed entirely in Spanish and offered a farm field day, networking opportunities, and workshops on a wide variety of critical agriculture topics. This year, for the first time, we were able to provide translation into Triqui, Zapoteco, and Mixteco, languages spoken by Indigenous people in Mexico.
Over the past decade, this event has reached more than 2,000 Latino farmers. We’re thankful to our conference co-sponsor, California State University, Monterey Bay College of Science, and to all our conference sponsors and booth sponsors, for helping put on another successful Latino Farmers Conference. We couldn’t do it without you!
