Building Soil, Building Equity

Accelerating Appalachia is inviting grazing and row crop producers across Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Southern Ohio, and Northern Georgia to sign up for Building Soil, Building Equity. This incentive program offers $12 million in direct cash payments and $6 million in technical assistance to support the adoption of regenerative farming practices. There are specific incentives for BIPOC producers and four types of cash incentives that support program participants: Implementation Incentive, Drawdown Incentive, Participation Incentive, and Travel Incentive.
