Texas Specialty Crop Block Grant Program

Applications must be received by January 9, 2025.
The Texas Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for Specialty Crop Block Grants to enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops pertaining to the following issues affecting the industry: Food Safety, Marketing, Nutrition, Plant Health, and Value Added/Industry Development. Grant applications must demonstrate that they will enhance the competitiveness of a Texas specialty crop industry. Funds may only be used for activities benefiting specialty crops, and the grant must benefit more than one individual, institution, or organization. Eligible applicants include Texas state agencies, universities, institutions, and producer-, industry-, or community-based organizations that are involved with or promote specialty crops.
