Livestock Producers Invited to Participate in Pasture Cropping Survey
Researchers from South Dakota State University, West Texas A&M University, and Texas A & M AgriLife Research are inviting U.S. producers who have livestock grazing on grassland to complete an online survey on pasture cropping and livestock grazing. The survey is part of a study designed to introduce the concept of pasture cropping, an innovative land-management system that seamlessly integrates cropping with pasture production, and to evaluate livestock producers’ perception of the benefits, costs, and challenges of pasture cropping and their willingness to continue using it or try it in the future. This survey contains 31 questions and will take approximately 15-25 minutes. Livestock managers who complete the survey will be automatically entered in a drawing to win one of the ten $50 Amazon gift cards.
