Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project Updates Local Food Guide

Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP) released its annual Local Food Guide, the definitive resource for finding local food and farms throughout the Appalachian Grown region. Each year ASAP staff connects with markets, farms, and businesses to update listings, offering the most accurate information for consumers. The 2025-2026 Local Food Guide is available in print or as a searchable and constantly updated online database with more than 1,450 listings. The 2025–26 edition of the Local Food Guide includes a look at the impact of Hurricane Helene on regional farms.
