Wisconsin Specialty Crop Block Grant

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is accepting applications for Specialty Crop Block Grant funds from the United States Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service to enhance the competitiveness of Wisconsin’s specialty crop industries. Grants range from $10,000 to $100,000. Projects that have the potential to provide solutions that lead to measurable outcomes for the specialty crop industry and the public receive priority, and projects must include a plan to disseminate project results to the targeted industry. Nonprofit organizations, producer organizations, government agencies, universities, and other organizations involved in Wisconsin agriculture. Individual producers, for-profit businesses and commercial entities may apply only if their project can demonstrate a significant benefit to the specialty crop industry regionally, statewide, or beyond.
