General Farm Description: Pasture Prime Farm is a newly developing regenerative farm located in Southampton, New Jersey. The farm is being established as a long-term agricultural project focused on ecological farming, soil restoration, and producing high-quality food while supporting biodiversity. The farm aspires to include a mix of orchards, vegetables, cut flowers, cover crops, pollinator habitat, and future livestock integration. Pasture Prime Farm is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to serve as an Assistant Farm Manager. This role will work closely with the farm owner to help establish the farm’s systems and manage day-to-day operations as the farm grows.
The position is designed for someone who is interested in helping build a diversified regenerative farm from the ground up and who may eventually transition into the role of Farm Manager as operations expand.
Responsibilities

Assist with crop planning, planting, and harvest

Help establish and maintain orchards and perennial crops

Maintain irrigation systems and drip lines

Manage vegetable beds and flower production areas

Assist with cover crop seeding and soil health practices

Support farm infrastructure projects and field development

Assist with harvest, washing, and packing of produce

Help coordinate seasonal labor or volunteers as the farm grows
Qualifications

2–5 years of farming or agricultural experience preferred

Interest in regenerative or ecological agriculture

Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work

Experience with tractors or small farm equipment preferred

Strong work ethic and willingness to help build a new farm operation
